The Hallway Track is an initiative from/for people from the technical community to remotely connect with each other.
- Open to folks who want to get to know others in Wikimedia-Tech
- Open to folks who want to meet with others they havenât seen in a while
- <insert> any other good reason :-) </insert>
The concept is derived from Wikimedia_Technical_Conference/2019/SmallGroupDinners
No relation to dinner, but a small group of people talking to each other.
The Code of Conduct for Wikimedia's Technical Spaces will be in effect at The Hallway Track. If you'd like to participate or organise an edition, please review the Code of Conduct & ensure you are willing and able to follow it.

Want to organise a session?
[edit]- Create a Jitsi event and add the date and time to this page
- Send an invitation to Wikitech-l and/or the Hackathon telegram group/IRC channel - https://t.me/wmhack or #wmhack connect
- Decide if you want to pre-announce a specific topic/theme or just let it go with the flow
- Think of some good and inclusive ways to start the meeting (i.e. ask everyone to introduce themselves, and if there is anything specific they want to discuss)
- Think of some (backup) topics youâd like to discuss, to get the conversation going
- Use Etherpad to take notes if you want to share something with others
