Focus

The focus of this proposal is unclear. If I understand correctly, you're proposing to only focus the whole "mobile" efforts on things which reduce data consumption. At the same time, usability on small screens would be shifted to a responsive main website (so-called "desktop" website). If this is the goal, then there is some serious feature creep. --Nemo 22:22, 7 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I'm not fully sure I understand the question. Our proposal is to update the mobile website with a focus on performance, reducing data consumption, and optimizing the experience for bigger screens. We are planning on keeping the older version of the mobile website, stripping it of some functionality, and offering it to users who want a very lightweight experience - this last proposal is not yet formalized however. Our focus is on the changes planned for the updated version OVasileva (WMF) (talk) 14:14, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
