Yahoo! uses "ymsgr:im?to=$id" to lunch Yahoo! Messenger nowaday. So please change the link in your tag <a> . [Ming Tsay] 07:38, 4 September 2010 (UTC+8)

Does Yahoo still use this method? According to http://arun.wordpress.com/2006/02/12/yahoo-msngr-breakthrough-the-stealth-settings/ , all users appear offline all the time, so this extension is useless.

Works fine for me as described in that article, using Yahoo Messenger v 8.1.0.209. If you're wanting it to detect people signed in as invisible that's a whole different problem, and one I don't really care about. Gible 13:49, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Add this option too[edit]

$style == "5"

              case "5":
                       $image = '<img src="http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u='.$input.'&m=g&t=5" ' ;
                       $image .= ' style="border: none; width: 12px; height: 12px;" alt="aagurita" />' ;

Thanks[edit]

Added this into the main code

Custom output?[edit]

Can anyone think of a way to have different output rather than the official Yahoo icons? I.e. custom images, text, etc.? Aerotheque 05:55, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
