GreyCat is a fixture of #bash connect and a god among mortals when it comes to the shell. His BashFAQ, BashGuide, and BashPitfalls are both authoritative and mega-useful, but they're also worth reading just for their literary quality: GreyCat is the Ignatius Reilly, Don Quixote or Yossarian of IRC.
