I have finished my Chinese translation, but whenever I try to post it, it always shows publishing and remain the state of publishing. On the translation dashboard, the task is still pending but it was completed.

Hiya! I noticed an issue when I was translating an article just now, from English to Norwegian Bokmål. When using the "copy original content" alternative, whatever references that are in the original content (a bullet list, in this case) are copies of the reference templates, but not within the reference tags (as they would be when dragging them across manually). Is this intentional?
I can't publish translations. The button stays gray while loading and the process never finishes. The translation meets the review criteria. I don't understand what's going on. ~~~~

Can you provide the following information for engineers to figure out the problem:
- Which article were you translating and to which language
- Which browser did you use (Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.)
- If you're getting any errors, please provide log from browser console if possible. To open browser console: press Ctrl+Shift+j (or cmd+alt+J () on a Mac).

@UOzurumba (WMF) Yes, I can translate other articles, but the Libya article, in particular, I can't translate from English into Portuguese.
This message is very frustration when I try to save the text as a '''draft'''. The thing is - the translation tool is excellent for the automatic translation, including the inner-links and categories etc. but is not the most useful tool when comes to editing the test. I want to save the '''outcome as a draft''', but then I get the message that I cannot - because it has not been edited. Could someone make the exception that for a draft this warning will not exist?

In a case where the automatic translation in the Wikipedia you are translating to has improved, making the current machine translation limit very strict. You can discuss adjusting the limit with the Wikipedia community in the village pump.
In deciding how strict the automatic translation should be, your community should consider different samples of the automatic translation as case studies and agree on a suitable threshold based on its accuracy and the extent to which translators edit the machine translation.
Once there is a consensus on the percentage of adjustment (e.g. 99% automatic translation and 1% adjustment), you can create a phabricator ticket like this one so that the WMF Language team can adjust the machine translation limit.

Couple of weeks ago I finished two translations from English into Spanish, one was the article on Marie-Joseph Angélique, the other one Sixties Scoop but until now, I have not seen them "officially" published on the platform. I would like to know if there is any specific reason why the two translations have not yet been approved.
Interestingly, I finished the translation of the article "Crown–Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada", published a month ago and within a few days it was approved and I even received a message welcoming me and thanking me for collaborating with Wikipedia.
I wonder if there are any additional steps that I should follow on the platform to ensure that the translation is detected and reviewed by the appropriate editors. I would appreciate any guidance or advice you can give me to facilitate this process.

I am writing stories in Wikipedia in isiXhosa language. Then they will be translated into English later. This is for isiXhosa undergraduate students. It is not possible in content translation, but it was fine with the old version. Can you assist?

If you are asking: can you translate an article from isiXhosa to English? In that case, you can only publish a translation on the English Wikipedia if you are an extended confirmed editor. You can learn more about this restriction on this page.
Once you save the introduction, the tool does not let you translate any other sections, even though it did promise that would be possible. I don't know how to translate the whole article without overwriting my previous work.

I can not go back and continue my translation. When I press the pencil icon it takes me to an empty translation form. I think there should be the part I already translated using the mobile phone chapter translation tool. I don't know how to explain this better, I'm sorry.
While trying to translate an article with a table with some example code, the content kept disappearing when I navigated around. The table itself was saved, but the content did just have a small reference to the code format used, and I was unable to edit the content. The only way i found to get it working again was to reset the entire table to the default translation.
I figured I would publish the article and try to edit the table outside the translation tool, but I was stopped by "text is 95% similar"-message. I'm sure that the text in the article was edited properly, and not 95% similar to the original translation. I did add several paragraphs (and the table as described above) that I was unable to delete, so I removed the content. My hypothesis is that these existing, but empty, content boxes somehow affects the similarity-calculation.

It does not accept my translations after I check everything and press publish. It keeps saying the text is 99% similar to the original language but it absolutely is not.

When you say "it is absolutely not" do you mean you reviewed and edited the translation before publishing, and to what percent did you edit the initial translation? The automatic machine translation is not meant to be published without editing and reviewing it. A restriction mechanism called the machine translation limit is put in place to ensure users review and edit their translation to a certain percentage before publishing so that high-quality content is maintained in Wikipedia. Furthermore, the machine translation support is provided as a starting point to aid contributors to translate content efficiently.
If you still think that something is not right It would be helpful if you could provide the following information:
