Wikimedia Scoring Platform team/Onboarding
Appearance
- Chat
- Get an IRC client. Join #wikimedia-ai connect.
- User accounts
- Wikimedia global account -- Works on Wikipedia, Commons, Meta, MediaWiki.org, etc.
- This is also known as an SUL account or a CentralAuth account.
- Register on any wiki. They all work the same.
- You should name your account "<something like your name> (WMF)". (E.g. "Halfak (WMF)")
- Use the {{User info }} template (e.g. https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Halfak_(WMF)&action=edit) to create a user page on Meta (This is important! Don't create it on any other wiki.)
- You can also have a volunteer account. You should cross-link between any volunteer accounts and your staff account. Use your staff account unless you're doing work as a contributor.

- File a request for LDAP access: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/view/1564/
- Request access to these groups: statistics-privatedata-users, wikidev, ores-admin, deployment, deploy-service,
