Offsite thoughts

JM: Offsite was valuable cause there was a lot of interaction with other teams

JW: Apps specific offsite would be a good idea

CF: Having both (All Reading & team) is valuable. Offsite focused on work is a good idea (for example, Reading lists offsite in the middle of the summer? Feature offsite?) JM: Hack day would be great

MH: A day of decompression in the middle of a big offsite would be a good idea

AM: Team-building stuff is a bit less useful than hacking. I got to know people as people, I’d like to get to know them as collaborators too.

Working with other teams

JM: Not sure how to phrase this but I have mixed feelings about working with other teams too much. Putting too much work into other projects might impact the team’s ability to deliver on our priorities

MH: Seems like Stephen and myself could work on the consolidation project for 6 months full-time

AM: Balance (independence vs coordination) is good
