How do I save changes?

User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2

The visual editor is fantastic! I'm actually delaying a local writing contest for the participants to be able to use this editor, which is far easier to grasp.

I only failed to find a way to save the changes I've made. If it's supposed to be so, please ignore my question and remember that you're cool. ליאור (talk) 21:16, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Paste from Word

User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.45 Safari/535.19

MediaWiki gets used in a lot of different environments and in many different ways. In areas where I have first-hand knowledge of its use outside of Wikipedia, there is a huge need for people to be able to paste information into the edit window from other sources, particularly Microsoft Word or Excel, and have the formatting stick. Currently, things like bold, bullets, headings don't convey at all and this leaves editors very frustrated. Having the ability to drop formatted text into the edit window is vitally important to the future of the MediaWiki baseline. 66.170.96.240 19:31, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Query

User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; en; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

Will it be possible to completely disable this new edit toolbar? The new visual text editor appears to be much more browser resource intensive. In addition, it appears the visual editor doesn't convert wikicode. There is no easy way to add formatted text, making this more difficult to edit than the current system. The only way to add bullets/headings is through the toolbar at the top, drastically slowing down the speed someone can format an article. Alpha Quadrant talk 22:37, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Selecting multiple separate lines of text

User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0

Please add functionality to allow users to select multiple separate lines of text and format them in bold for example. 120.149.115.93 09:03, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

We're trying to get that in later.Jasper Deng (talk) 05:50, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

When I highlight a word or words and then click the link tool, it should automatically populate the "page" field. For instance, in the sandbox, I double clicked to highlight 1983 and then clicked the link icon. Then I had to enter 1983 in the page field and then click the check button to confirm. It should be more seamless than this.

Thank you for everything you're doing to bring this capability to Wikipedia. It can't get here soon enough! 66.170.96.240 03:20, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
