Add topicAgain, welcome!
[edit]Hello... I see you're interested in the Google Summer of Code 2014 initiative, so, I wish you good luck with that! If you're interested in small activities to get you started in this community, you might consider updating or creating translations from English into another language you know (example), taking screenshots to improve existing documentation, or a combination of both tasks :) You can find a couple of good guides here and here, and I'm available to provide further details in case of need. - I'm currently working on other things (Flow/Thanks) when it comes to MediaWiki, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks! wctaiwan (talk) 02:21, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
Join the GSoC & OPW IRC meeting
[edit]Hi! The community bonding period is over, and you should have started working on your project. In addition to the strict work, you are required to report frequently, see the details at the GSoC or OPW pages.
The Engineering Community team is organizing a Q&A session for all participants (mentors included) tomorrow Tuesday at #wikimedia-office connect, see Engineering Community Team/Meetings/2014-05-20. See you there!--Qgil (talk) 21:57, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
Please provide feedback on suggested improvements to the Code of Conduct
[edit]Thanks to everyone whoâs helped work on the Code of Conduct so far.
People have brought up issues they feel were missed when working on "Unacceptable behavior" and "Report a problem". Consultants have also suggested changes in these same sections.
These are important sections, so please take a look at the proposed changes. I apologize that this feedback arrived later than planned, but I think this will create a better document.
If you prefer to give your opinion privately, feedback via e-mail is welcome at conduct-discussionwikimedia.org.
