Thank you a lot for being available as a GCI mentor! Wikimedia mentors need to be able to guide students. Hence mentors need to be experienced Wikimedia contributors and need to know the community and "how things work". Could you please share some information which specific Wikimedia projects you have contributed to and worked on so far? How would you describe your areas of expertise within Wikimedia which you'd like to mentor in GCI 2019? Are there any public Wikimedia contributions you could link to (for example your username or your Gerrit activity, or activity in Wikimedia projects on Github)? This would help us to get a better idea. Thank you! (Also, for an invitation to Google's GCI website we need your email address.) Thank you!

Hi @Martin Urbanec
Apologies for the delay in reply. I am really glad that I have got an opportunity to be a GCI mentor for Wikimedia. I started contributing towards Wikimedia last year and have worked on issues based on the ReplaceText and TitleBlacklist extensions. I initially had the idea of mentoring tasks relate to these extensions. Recently I found an issue related to localhosting Wikimedia and found it as a really important task for beginners to contribute to Wikimedia. So I gave it a thought to perhaps mentor this task.
The links to my Gerrit account [1] and the task [2] which I wish to mentor are given below. And my email address is laasyasree7410@gmail.com. My gerrit username is Laasya sree.

I see three trivial patches by Srilu7410 merged in Gerrit. I'd trust Srilu7410's judgement which tasks they are able to mentor when it comes to their knowledge of Wikimedia. In any case I'd like to note that mentors must understand the code base sufficiently enough to review student contributions and should not mentor or review student work that they don't know good enough.
Hi @AKlapper (WMF)
Apologies for the delay in reply. I am really glad that I have got an opportunity to be a GCI mentor. I'll make sure that I will try my level best to be active in the IRC channel and help others during the GCI period. I will also put in efforts to review the students in the right manner and make good judgements.
Thank you.
Thanks @Srilu7410 for your reply, if you have any specific questions feel free to ask in our public IRC channels, All the best and Good Luck :)
Hi @Gopavasanth
Yeah sure, if I have any doubts regarding tasks or mentoring I'll surely ask in the IRC channels.
Thank you.
