Do you maintain Extension:ShowRealUsernames any more?

Hi Paul, from Extension talk:ShowRealUsernames it would appear that you do not actively work on Extension:ShowRealUsernames any more. I have written a (not yet published) extension which basically does the same thing, and since I think it's inefficient to have two almost equivalent extensions on mediawiki.org, I'd suggest to integrate my code (as well as some proposals from Extension talk:ShowRealUsernames) into ShowRealUsernames. If you wish, I'd also be ready to take over maintenance of the extension altogether. - RV1971 (talk) 09:15, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

Hey, RV1971! Happy to see the interest in this extension. We are still using it here in my local (corporate) wiki, but no, I can't really claim to be maintaining it. (My wiki work has been pretty much displaced by other work, alas.) So yes, I would be happy for you to merge your work & pick up those proposals. And certainly happy to try to answer any questions you might have for me on it, although I don't remember there being a lot of subtlety to it. Thanks!

Many thanks for the quick reply. I have just uploaded version 1.2 which merges my code into yours. You might consider upgrading the installation in your company: version 1.2 is meant to be 100% compatible with existing configurations, and I'd be interested to learn whether this is actually the case.
