Hi!

How is this progressing? I don't find activity since last summer, and the feature is centrally on the Wikimaps agenda. It could be discussed and even worked on in the Zürich hackathon! :)

@Susannaanas: There are a few patches awaiting review because nobody is really a maintainer for UW right now - the Multimedia team will be coming into that area soon-ish, but it will be a little while before we can deal with big projects like this...I think.
