You aren't supposed to range block indefinitely. Do you have checkuser access? Collateral damage is very high in this case.

Extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary measures. I myself don't have checkuser access, but checkusers have indeed reviewed this block.

You've caught up a number of us government employees in this range. We can't register as users but feel very strongly that some information needs to be included in this discussion.

Switch to non-mobile Internet then. You can also use the request an account process to create an account. Or email me with an email adress/username combo and I can create an account.

Those are not workable options. We cannot create accounts - we need anonymity. I don't think you've balanced the equities correctly here. I will escalate through email.

Why do you not want to create an account? Your account does not need emails or other personal information, it is only used on Wikimedia/MediaWiki wikis. You won't be sent anything unless the wikis know your email.

I did not actually expect a reply: it is only to streamline the text and remove extraneous details (or changing style of speech). It should not have been a 'new' reply, only one that I myself edited THREE years ago by now.

I too just found out my IP address is blocked too under the dog and rapper vandal. I would like to know how you are allowed to block hundreds of IP a dresses? I have never attempted to make any edit on any page till today.

I live in Florida, I've always lived in Florida. Never been to Pennsylvania where the dog and rapper vandal IP addresses originate from so I'm not understanding why I'm blocked.

I just found another link to users that you have blocked. It seems like you lumped many of us metro PCS/T Mobile customers together. I have never had a Wikipedia account but I just requested one and I'm waiting for the email yo log in. I'm sorry you've been having problems. However, IP addresses in that range change so often that I had no choice but to take such a drastic action.

Mr. Graham87, know that you've blocked IP addresses in San Francisco and Bay Area, where the Wikipedia main office is located. I will definitely go in-person and prove to them that what you are doing undermines Wikipedia. You just block thousands of IP addresses for no apparent reason. Sad.

Can you please stop blocking these IP addresses? It is very inconvenient for us and the guy is using a VPN so he can still edit the pages as much as he wants, blocking IP addresses solves nothing and creates many inconveniences for being blocked because someone used my IP address in a VPN. Please just unblock all of those IP addresses involved in this case, they are actual people that don't deserve this.

This arbitrary IP block has caused many wikipedia pages to decay and display outdated information. We will no longer be contributing to wikipedia as it is now neither a source of up-to-date information nor community building.

This guy is ridiculous. He has blocked God-knows how many people from using one of Wikipedia's major features because he can't handle a troll. Or is too lazy to. If this was the correct way to deal with these kind of vandal situations, no-one would ever be able to edit wikipedia. I mean just think about it.

As I frequent Wikipedia often, and donate $6 every month, I’m no longer donating to Wikipedia because of this. Absolutely ridiculous that I was blocked.

Agreed, this is ridiculous. To let most of the U.S. population to edit, the 2607:fb90::/32 range has to be unblocked. It seems that the "dog and rapper vandal" is the cause of the block; however, many innocent users have been affected, including us and Ron liebman (a long-time regular contributor to SABR). This just doesn't seem fair at best, and no actions have ever been considered by the administrators. I created 2 special templates for this case a while ago: TMOblock and TMobileIP6.

This is completely ridiculous garbage. I've been trying for days - DAYS - to fix an error in with no avail because this breaks the login system. I'm in a rural area. Mobile hotspot is my ONLY internet. Thank GOD I visited a friend and brought my laptop so I could ACTUALLY sign into my account. If not, there'd be some garbage on that page about who knows what forever.

Like previous commentor, I'm ending my donations effective now. Someone with this much power doing this is clearly narcissistic and in no way fit for the position. Maybe Wikipedia deserves to burn so a better place can form.

   I was recently blocked by you from being able to edit a Wikipedia page. I have no reason why. I wanted to correct mistakes made on said page about The Citizens party of Catalonia, which has erroneous errors. 
    Errors I wanted to correct were for instance it being center right, which is blatantly false (How can you be center and it's parliament party being an alliance for liberals and democrats?). 
     Another error is one of its ideologies being "liberalism" when it is against Catalonian independence.

Hello, unfortunately the block affects all TMobile customers in the US; this was the only way to slow down the dog and rapper vandal. However you can request an account.
