I found you replaced <source>
tags with <syntaxhighlight>
. Please re-mark pages for translation after those trivial edits.

Sorry, I thought I had gone over them all, but I must have gotten side tracked.
I think I got them all
Hi DannyS712,
Could you want to mark Template:Oppose for translation? Already thanks for do that.
done
Hello Danny! I was wondering if you could grant me the rollback bit till mid-September. I do a lot of software undos and manual undos and it's a bit tiring. I don't mind doing RCP here till September to keep the right. Much thanks.
There isn't a rollback bit on MediaWiki.org; per Special:ListGroupRights, only administrators have rollback.
Rip, that's a bit pointless then. Thanks either way. :)
Hi! Section editing of translatable pages often causes an unwanted blank line to appear after the edited section. Please don’t approve such edits, but remove these blank lines first. Thanks in advance!
Didn't notice it, sorry
Hi DannyS712, Thank you for your feedback. This is my first time on Enterprise MediaWiki site and I am still trying to figure out how to best fit in.
I have reviewed all User pages for the event and am not able to see how any of my works differ from the others. Wikipedia/Spam says – “unsolicited or undesired electronic messages”. I am a member of the EMW group and expected to include a description of my enterprise-related work – who I am, who I work for and what I do. As to promotional, must other attendees do promote their positions as consultants, etc. I do not promote my business to the EMW group.
Please clarify so that I may understand how my work is different than the others, as I will be discussing your comments with both Cindy Cicalese, who has already requested that we meet to discuss my ideas, and Yaron Koren, I have been his client using a wiki on his farm. Please clarify so that I may be in conformance with the unpublished rules you reference. Thanking you in advance. Will you be attending our event?
In short, your user page was far too promotional to be included here. Looking at the users you cite, User:Cindy.cicalese and User:Yaron Koren both have user pages that are related to the mediawiki software.
DannyS712, Thank you. I get it. My only interest in attending is to learn more about how others in the Enterprise space are able to help employees to provide information to their group wiki. Specifically what tools are in popular use to help capture, curate, discuss and convert ideas into work processes. I will rewrite my User page to express my interest in SMW's state of the art and the desire to learn about others' use cases. Thanks again for helping me get focused.
I'm glad I got tagged here. DannyS712 - the deletions by you and Clump should not have been done, in my opinion. I read the text that was deleted (I have admin rights), and it seems completely harmless to me. I don't know what the exact rules on this site are about self-promotion (are they listed anywhere?), but the text in previous versions of Stanley's user page seemed entirely relevant here - he was talking about business plans of his that relate to MediaWiki, not advertising an ice cream shop or something. I guess this situation has been resolved now, but I hope you and Clump avoid this kind of thing in the future.
Hi Danny, I checked the admin and bureaucrat list and found some inactive accounts. One bureaucrat with less than 10 edits never even made a log action here! They don't need these rights. This gives the false impression that we have too "many" admins and bureaucrats here for a small project. How about desysoping and decrating them?
Crats cannot remove sysop rights here. There was a discussion about this I saw somewhere - looking
See Project:Requests/RfC/Proposal to allow bureaucrats revoke sysop, Project:Requests/RfC/Removal of inactive sysops, and Project:Requests/RfC/Removal of inactive sysops (2018)
Well, I know that crats can't remove sysops rights here. But those inactive admins and crats don't need those admin permissions. In fact, insecured admin/crat (without 2FA) accounts are vulnerable. Stewards can remove those rights. Perhaps we should start a discussion? But where?
Oh, I see that you replied while I was typing this message. I wonder if we can resume/revive those discussions.
I think you should just start a new discussion; make sure to ping the crats
Hi! I wanna ask why my page:
Gesture controll for presentations
was deleted?
Because it did not fit within the scope of this website - see Project:About#What MediaWiki.org is not
What does it mean "it did not fit"? I'm still working on it?
It did not appear to be related to mediawiki: "The aim of this study is it, to create a system that interacts with humans easily" is not what this website is for
Yes, because it's not finished yet. That's part of my project, prof asked us to create page about project we did for our class. Could you please undelete it?
Is the project related to mediawiki?
Whatever, could you please send me the "code" of the page?
Do you intent to recreate the page?
Not here, don't worry
Do you intend to recreate it on another wikimedia foundation website?
I guess this one is powered by mediawiki "https://ensiwiki.ensimag.fr/"
That's the page I'm obliged to use, but I've mistken them, and haven't noticed
Yes, but it isn't part of the wikimedia foundation, so I have no objection (don't know anything about the site). I'm going to restore it temporarily for you to copy your work, and then delete it again
I'm done. Thanks
Deleting again...
Hello Danny,
Have you read https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T160233#5730506 ? There shouldn't be any concerns about this feature. How to move forward with it before it sinks to the bottom of the Sea of forgetfulness?
I did see that, but I'm not sure what I can do - the patch is still waiting for approval
You can confirm if I've read your code properly.
My thoughts on approval (should I ask Niharika about this?): either my reasoning (can do 'almost' the same with the current tool) is enough for approval, or an RfC on mediawiki should be done.
Indeed, I implemented the comment-only version. I agree that your reasoning is enough for approval, given that this was requested by the community
