OAuth (obsolete info)

Hi there. Any particular reason why we should keep OAuth (obsolete info) on this wiki? Even with the new title, it's still obsolete and confusing clutter that isn't terribly useful. If this really needs to be kept around, could you please at least make sure that no pages are linking to it, and instead are linking to a more up-to-date counterpart? Nemo, Oh I didn't notice the first message here, sorry. Erm, but what about that variable I mentioned in irc? Won't it prevent translating from Ukrainian (that's the sourcelanguage I'm interested in) to English with reasoning that "English's the sourcelanguage"? Are there already Wikimedia wikis with Translate being enabled and sourcelanguage different than English? I don't know whether my proposal about enabling it will be supported but I should know that it's possible what I want). --Base (talk) 16:50, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
If the wiki is in Ukrainian, that's the (default) source language. And yes, we have wmca:, wmbr: and wmbe: using Translate. WMBE is quite special because they want to deal with two source languages, ignore that one. :) --Nemo 19:34, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

What's the problem you supposed to occur? The source language is pt-br in that page, AFAICS. The message "English is the source language" is just a misconfiguration in WMF. Check wikiapiary:Extension:Translate to check "true" non-English wikis. --Nemo 08:33, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Nemo The problem with wgTranslateBlacklist setting (I was doubting possibility of non en as source lang basing on it back in IRC). Unless it's fixed it's impossible to use it properly as English's and important language to be translated to for wikis not in it. Nemo, Cool but opposite issue happens to exist. Is it possible to show similar message in all sourcelanguage cases (would be cool to have not )? It seems that now it's possible translate to en-ca in wmca and to pt-br in wmbr. It would also nice to have this localizable. Seems like the best is to do it somewhere on extension's part instead of configs' --Base (talk) 08:28, 20 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
I don't understand your request, perhaps you mean phabricator:T89637? I'm not aware of issues in the default Translate configuration, so far we've only found errors in WMF configuration. --Nemo 08:33, 20 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Nemo, Aha. And same for en-ca. I think both possibilities to translate could be stopped with that wgTranslateBlacklist but it's unwise to set it manually for each new adder sourcelanguage somewhere.
