Help:$wgVariables -> Manual:$wgVariables

Andy, thank you for moving the $wgVariables pages from "Help:" to "Manual:" namespace. I advocate deleting all the "Help:$wgVariable" redirects that were created during the move as they do not fit within the purpose of the "Help:" namespace. Did you use a robot to move the pages? Could you also delete the redirects with a robot for us? Delete requires admin status which I believe User:Robchurch would grant to you if you explained your need. I moved the index pages, Help:Configuration settings and Help:Configuration settings (alphabetical), to Manual:$wg config and Manual:$wg config (alphabetical) and updated all the links on those two pages and in the template that is used on the individual $wgVarible pages themselves to match the Manual namespace location of the $wgVariable pages that you have moved. So it should now be fine to delete all the Help:$wgVariable redirects to clean up the Help namespace. Can you do that? --Rogerhc 06:18, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

I think User:Bdk may have now already cleaned up the redirects (not sure). User:Robchurch did not like the pagename Manual:$wg config and moved it to Manual:Configuration settings instead. So I have also moved the alphabetical listing to Manual:Configuration settings (alphabetical) and updated various links. Cheers :-) Rogerhc 22:20, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
