Problem it solves
[edit]- People have questions while they read and right now they go elsewhere to ask, rather than starting a discussion on Wikipedia. This is inconvenient by forcing a context switch and is a lost opportunity to make articles better. For instance, a user went to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmosphere_of_Earth and then left the site to ask a question about something they read. Here is the question: "Why does air contain argon, specifically?".
- Right now, Wikipedia states information as fact and few readers are aware of the fluid nature of truth. By asking questions, they uncover nuance and judgement.

Concerns
