User Interaction Consultation/3d models and animations

Brief Description

Currently it is not possible to upload 3d models to Commons. I think that it would enrich the content in Wikipedia if some pages had 3d models of what they represent. Besides the technology is becoming more and more widespread.

Additionally, there should be some framework for creating animations. Some users have created gifs, but those are difficult to edit, or translate. Ideally an open framework would help much more.

Problem it solves

It gives room for new content, it enables new reading experiences.
