[edit]Reedy's been focused on:
- Code review tool
- API work
- embedded docs out of sync with MediaWiki.org / Zak will get these in sync
Embedded docs need to be cleaned up:
How do we update things cleanly? WS changes, formatting fixes,
- focus on a one file minimum cleanup commits - go for bigger commits
- these will be big enough to blow out the embedded diff tool
- compare opcode outputs from before and after? use that to programatically prove that nothing meaningful has changed
Get help from reedy on untangling code
When something's deprecated add recommendations and examples
Make sure to link up all key resources -
Database schemas are out-of-date / inconsistently formatted
- use scripts to generate schema for dbs?
- perhaps check redirects/create possibly common redirects (mw_TableName)
- ask Erik to see if he sees people searching with prefixes
Ask Erik for general stats on searches
