My name is Aleš Kapica. I am probably oldest active user the MediaWiki software here, which know this system as sysadmin, admin, translator, developer and user. My wikis https://wiki.control.fel.cvut.cz is oldest third-part wiki what I know (run from since 18.8.2008 – a long time under domain https://support.dce.felk.cvut.cz)

My first contact with Wikipedia software was 2003, but my begginnings connected mainly with the czech version Wikipedia (since 9.8.2004), and Wikibooks (since 20.4.2009) – articles abouts Linux & etc. was writed under my first identity Woodcraft. My second identity Want, (used from 25.6.2010) is my unique login for all Wikimedia projects.

Want is shorted, original "Velký Want" was a pun. It sound as Velký Vont – this title has a special status in Czech literary culture. First used it my friend Jiří Sýkora in 1997 year – it was year my first contact with the internet.

Since 2008 I am active sysadmin, and developer of the MediaWiki Extension:AccessControl and translator – for it I have account on translatewiki.net too. From March 2023 I work on the Extension:EImage, because it was unmaitained and my wiki use it.
