I've been a mechanical engineer at Ingredion in Eastern Ontario, Canada since 2004. I started a private MediaWiki installation in 2009 with the aim of improving how we document, search, and work with the information that makes a large manufacturing plant like ours work.

The installation grew steadily over 2010-2020 but was generating significantly more interest as of Q1 2020.
