About me

I live in New Delhi and I am enrolled as an MS student here at IIT Delhi. I had been a GSoC 2017 intern with the Wikimedia foundation. My mentors were Bas, Zhuyifei, Tom. During the internship I made a web tool called Glam2Commons that enables any Wikimedia Commons user to upload images from the online repositories of any (theoretically) number of GLAMs (galleries, libraries, archives and museums).

I have been active in the Bengali Wikipedia. My profile page in Bengali Wikipedia can be found here which lists my contributions so far. I contribute to the English wikipedia sporadically. You may look at my Contributions page. My media uploads to Commons is listed here.

I have a Bachelor of Technology degree from National Institute of Technology Durgapur. My MS research work is in theoretical computer science. So I like to read and discuss related topics. Also I am an amateur Lawn Tennis player.
