Lots of projects going on at the Wikimedia Hackathon 2022 in Hyderabad.

WOOHOO THAT WAS A BLAST Experience to collaborate with User: KCVelaga_(WMF), User:Jayprakash12345 and Sarthak Parashar and organise a national level Indic Wikimedia Hackathon at Aditya Park Hotel, Hyderabad with the support of Wikimedia Foundation and Centre for Internet and Society!

Indic Wikimedia Hackathon 2022 brought to us a great opportunity to collaborate, network, learn and work on various projects across Wikimedia's eco system.

There was a huge response of registrations, 27+ participants took part in a 3 day in-person hackathon. The event comprising of new comers, project maintainers, volunteers, developers, GLAM members and other experts from various departments and diverse ages.

We had a welcome session on the first day to collaborate, meet and greet and discuss on the program agenda for the next two days.

Day 2 started with an interactive discussion on brainstorming new ideas for wiki communities and tool developments by User:THasan_(WMF) which made participants engage better for a quality discussions followed by the hacking hours.

The final day was quite exciting with the vigorous energy and enthusiasm from the participants to complete their projects. Adhoc group photos and team lunch added to the fun. We witnessed a lot of passion from the contestants - late nights, last minute finishes, presentations and in-person collaborations brought beauty to the program.
