Hey fellas. I joined this Wiki to keep tabs on this new Meta-data storage. I actively participate in the Memory-alpha.org wiki for the fictional Star Trek universe.

Structured Data is good, mm-kay?

We recently came upon the need to have a small bit of structured data included with the free-form text that Wikis are so fantastically suited to. In a nutshell, we needed to have meta-data associated with the pages that described the various Star Trek episodes. [[1]]

And, when you see an episode listing page: [1], its nice to have the meta-data included there. In some circles, it would be nice to have the descriptions NOT be saved into the listing pages, but in practice thats fine since the episode descriptions really shouldn't change that much.

But consider other aspects, like maybe "Number of ALien Species encountered in episode", "Guest Actors", etc etc etc...
