Team A - CUR/550 Virtual School Vision Statement

Phoenix Preparatory School (PPS) is a rural public school in Phoenix, Oregon.  PPS has 287 students, K-12, with a divided campus K-5 and 6-12.  The students are diverse, with four languages (English, Spanish, Samoan, and French) represented.  The school is designated as Title I, and is in its first year of turnaround status.  PPS has a new principal and vice principal, hired to help raise test scores and improve the graduation rate.  Both administrators have a background in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and hope to build a comprehensive plan of professional learning for students and staff centered on collaboration and growth.
