Greetings and felicitations. I like the Wikimedia Talk page software, including most of the more recent changes, but I think it could use some tweaking. (I am most familiar with English Wikipedia, such as the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Help_desk.)
When a new section is created, please change the default comment from "new section" to "New section."
When a user replies, please change the default comment from "Reply" to "Replied."—or at least "Reply."
This will improve capitalization and punctuation.
Also, are new sections automatically subscribed to? (Apparently not.) Since they are not, display the "[ subscribe ]" link when they are created (as is the case when commenting on sections), instead of having the user have to make a separate action to subscribe, generally by editing the comment they just created. This will make it easier for users.
Lastly, where can I find a list of the threads/sections I am subscribed to in this manner? It's not under Preferences —> Watchlist in Wikipedia. If there isn't one, please create it.
