CT should enable to publish non corrected text in personal space

I understand, and I support, the necessity to forbid publication of uncorrected, or barely corrected, translated text in WP space. But I'd want to publish uncorrected text in my personal space, to correct him in my usual workspace and tools (and especially in wikicode). But CT tool forbid me. Or, how can I edit in wikicode in CT tool ?

Strong support I had the same problem recently, with a good level of automatic translation, but requiring to be edited in wikicode to suppress a lot of code in the references, that cannot be done with visual editor. It was a lost of time to find enough unnecessary changes until the tool accepted the publication in my personal space.

I had the same problem, when I tried to translate articles concerning constituencies. They have a lot of tables with figures concerning elections in old times, not very interesting for our readers. When I tried to skip the tables, it was not possible to "publish" the translation into my personal space.

My solution: I asked the administrators to import the article from the other language version into my personal space and there I transleted them. The content translation seems not to be very useful for translators in the German Wikipedia anyhow. No machine translation (not important, I do it elsewhere, if needed), no good possibilites to adjust the templates, not very goog in doing the correct internal links etc. So, the "old way" of translation the texts in the personal space often seems to be the better way.--~~~~
