I know the @WikimediaDesign account is not the most active, but it is still linked under the "Reach out or stay up-to-date" section of this page. I don't think it is beneficial for wiki groups to continue to be active on Twitter. @WikimediaDesign isn't populated by a wiki group but by the Wikimedia Foundation Design team to give design interested groups around the world insights about our work.
While I don't disagree with your argument, this has to be seen with other activities of the Foundation on Twitter/X and as long as we're not completely redracting, the liked by interested folks handle will remain.
If this is a decision for the Wikimedia Foundation to make for all teams/projects, is there a good place to send feedback to the Foundation overall about this?
