For example on page -> https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:QuestyCaptcha I read at the end

This extension is included in the following wiki farms/hosts and/or packages:
This is not an authoritative list. Some wiki farms/hosts and/or packages may contain this extension even if they are not listed here. Always check with your wiki farms/hosts or bundle to confirm.

As the list is empty il would be better to have something asĀ :

Does it really matter? Presumably, the "Used by" template should just be removed wherever it's blank.

Wladek92 (talkcontribs)

Yes but we dont know 'a priori' it is not used,

and end of sentence '...and/or packages:' remains syntaxically not closed.

Sorry, I don't know what you mean. In the case of QuestyCaptcha, it should simply be deleted. (It should have been deleted two months ago, actually.) Are there cases where it is hard to tell whether the template should be removed?

Wladek92 (talkcontribs)

You understand that the problem concerns the template's behaviour, not about whether caller should have been deleted or not. I make the page cross-rereadings and consistency checks, so if there is no caller, it is expected the template says it explicitly, or closes the first sentence correctly with a '.'

Sure, I understand, but it just seems like unnecessary work. But if you (or someone else) want to improve the template in that way, go ahead.
