i upgrade my MW from 1.35 to 1.39
i install HeaderFooter extension using this doc Extension:Header Footer
whene i run the update script i get this message "This version of the HeaderFooter extension requires MediaWiki 1.25+"
what can i do please my actual version is 1.39 > 1.25 ?

You might want to try Wikia's version of the extension that is compatible with version 1.39. It is here. Or Halllo Welt's, which is here. If either or both work, it would be a good idea to add a note to the Extension page.
Encountering the same issue. I updated from 1.35 to 1.39. Updated SemanticMediaWiki and SemanticMediaCite too and after i finished with those i get the This version of the HeaderFooter extension requires MediaWiki 1.25+.
I tried also both repos @Tosfos commented above but no luck. How to solve this?
Is this extensions dead?
I am still hitting the"This version of the HeaderFooter extension requires MediaWiki 1.25+" when upgrading from 1.37 to 1.38 and there does not seem to be any solution out there.
