Dear @Dan Shick (WMDE)
I think it's really good, well done! The language is clear and the tone is friendly and inviting. So I'm not sure there's a lot to comment on. Maybe, the one think that struck me somehow is, in the section 'Why would I want to use Wikibase?', the third example ('Perhaps you're familiar with Wikibase and want to try it out, but you lack the resources or expertise to set it up locally. A cloud-based Wikibase might suit your needs'). I felt this was somehow more technical/advanced than the other 3 examples in this secton. I see the need for it, I wonder though, maybe this could be moved as the last example? I'm not sure, just a thought - and not a big issue in any case. Also, in this very sentence, it's the first time that we hear about a cloud-based wikibase (and thus the distinction between cloud/suite). I was wondering, whether it would make sense to mention the two earlier on - ie in the introduction ('What is Wikibase?')? Maybe a sentence at the end of the paragraph, something like 'Wikibase comes as a suite and as a cloud based..' I'm sorry if this is implied elsewhere in the text and I don't get it :)
Reading it, and particularly from the partnerships perspective, I see how including a few examples (of how others have been using it) will be really meaningful.
Ok, that's it from me. Just some thoughts, I hope these are somehow helpful and/or relevant :) And I hope that I haven't completely misused the platform!
Will be happy to talk again and/or see other drafts if you want to!
My very best wishes
Christos
