Link to a page on another wiki / redirect

Hello there,

I created a new newsletter to announce the m:WIKIMOVE podcast. The documentation pages of the podcast are on Meta, as well as the page that I would like to use as "Page title of the issue". Tony already told me that only Mediawiki pages were accepted, I tried anyways to add a page title with "m:", and I got the error message "m:WIKIMOVE/Podcast is an interwiki title, should be local."

So that's my ultimate wish, I hope one day we can have newsletters that link to pages from other Wikimedia wikis :)

In the meantime, as a workaround, I created Wikimove/Podcast that contains a redirect to m:WIKIMOVE/Podcast. However, this is a "soft" redirect, and when a user clicks on the notification link, they arrive on the Mediawiki page and have to click once more to finally arrive on the Meta page. Hence my question: is there a way to do a more "aggressive" redirect, that would bring people directly where I want to bring them, which is m:WIKIMOVE/Podcast?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @01tonythomas, I wanted to talk to you about this during the hackathon but I didn't find time. Do you know if there's any possibility to create a newsletter with the Extension that would link to the newsletter page on Meta or Wikidata instead of Mediawiki?

Thanks a lot!
