@Doc James That URL is already the codebase of Extension:OurWorldInData . This question is about Extension:OurWorldInDataMirror . Are you sure? Though I don't understand the difference anyway as both extensions have the same description. This is quite confusing...
@AKlapper (WMF) historically the difference was that OurWorldInData pointed to the main OWID site while OurWorldInDataMirror pointed to the OWIDM site and had somewhat different features. Now OurWorldInData points at OWIDM, has been improved, and lives in gerrit. OurWorldInDataMirror is no longer maintained as a separate code line. However, in some installations there are legacy pages that used OurWorldInDataMirror, and those now consider it to be an alias of OurWorldInData. Going forward OurWorldInDataMirror should not be used. Not sure how that should be recorded here.
