https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q78641470&oldid=1169950833 is not adding a description where there wasn't one already but changing an existing one. Is that supposed to happen? A duplicate article was merged two days prior which might have to do with this.

Yeah, this should be because of the duplicate article merging with the first one. We have no obvious solution right now, but it should at least not be a common occurrence.
