A questioner at the Teahouse on en-wiki has asked why tables that are sortable in desktop view are no longer sortable when seen in 'mobile view'. Is this something that is planned to be implemented at some point in the future? And do we have a comparison table anywhere that shows which functions are currently available/unavailable in each of the two views?

@TheDJ, have there been any changes to the sorting recently?
@Whatamidoing (WMF) @TheDJ Can I clarify, as I appreciate there's an unintended ambiguity in my question above. I did not mean to suggest that sorting in mobile view once worked, but doesn't any longer. I meant to imply that a page with a table that can be sorted in desktop view doesn't permit that table to be sorted when the page is displayed in mobile view (and presumably never has). So my question was to ask whether there are any plans to enable this, or if there are good reasons why sorting of tables is disabled in mobile view?
hmm. tablesorter is marked as a mobile compatible module.. I suspect it is because Minerva overrides getDefaultModules() as a skin, which causes a variety of modules to be missed... Suggest filing a ticket in phabricator
@TheDJ @Whatamidoing (WMF) I'd be grateful if one of you could raise this, please. I've little experience of Phabricator.
