Is the Reading Web team planning on developing an undo feature on the mobile diff interface. If not, can I try to develop one based on a script that I have created (this one) ?

@FR30799386 we currently don't have any active plans to work on this, though there is of course the task where we're tracking the issue (which I know you're familiar with). From what I can gather it seems like creating a gadget would be a great next step here. @Jdlrobson might be able to advise you better.
@AHollender_(WMF):To be honest, I have thought about it. But MusikAnimal (WMF) said that gadgets don't load on mobile. And I tested several gadgets on Minerva skin. They don't load on mobile website even if it is optimized for mobile and loads on mobile if I import it to my personal JavaScript file.
Masumrezarock100, There are currently certain gadgets deployed and working on the English Wikipedia that are loaded exclusively on mobile (using the |targets=mobile
) configuration on ResourceLoader. Also, from what I understand from a cursory look at T127268 is that once the |targets=
parameter is depreciated and removed, all gadgets will be loaded on both desktop and mobile.
@Masumrezarock100 as an additional reference point, I know the gadget with the description "Add map popups to coordinates in the mobile website" works on mobile.
Gadgets do work on mobile. Please do write one ensuring it only gets loaded on the right pages. My only complaint would be if it loaded on article pages.
The mobileUndo script only loads on Special:MobileDiff subpages. I am a regular user, and I am fully satisfied. It's automatic revert is very convenient.
