> The Reading Infrastructure team at the Wikimedia Foundation is developing a cross-platform reading list service for the mobile Wikipedia app. Reading lists are like bookmark folders in your web browser. They allow readers using the Wikipedia app to bookmark pages into folders to read later. This includes reading offline. Reading lists do not create or alter content in any way.

I'd mention the service is for syncing reading lists across apps and web up front. The first clients it will be tested on is the Android app followed by iOS

I do realize you say sync in the next paragraph… I just want to make sure is clear wha the purpose of the service is… I would say something like:

The Reading Infrastructure team at the Wikimedia Foundation is developing a cross-platform service for syncing reading lists across our Reading experiences.

You can call out all the platforms there if you like as well
