Citation notes being translated

There is a a recent change in the last week or so on the Welsh Wikipedia where translating text using Yandex now translates some of the citation templates e.g. "Cite web" becomes "Dyf gwe", but it doesn't translate the parameters. This breaks stuff on translating because the Welsh template parameters don't match the English one (although they two templates are sitelinked). In Welsh, we have a separate "Cite web" template which uses English parameters. Is there a way to stop translating these template names? There are other examples e.g Cite journal. Thanks, diolch.

Thanks. It's rather annoying if we're having to add exceptions for templates where this occurs. It would be best not to try and auto-convert them. I know this also affects "Cite journal -> Dyf llyfr" but I couldn't give a definitive full list.

In a later patch https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/295668 I am trying to fallback to Cite web when there is no mapping exists. But from previous feedbacks from communities, they prefer locallized template name instead of template name in translation source. Adapting templates across different languages is a difficult problem, we are still working on it.
