@Micru are there specific media types you have in mind and/or is this a general direction you'd like to see us move in. I know the editing team is thinking of more movie-like experiences. Perhaps @Jdforrester_(WMF) can briefly speak to where this work is.

Diderot and d'Alembert would have been happy if the readers could have printing in 3D the machines illustrated in their encyclopedia. Why not to upload to Commons for sharing the models that now are uploaded to privative thingiverse.com without free licenses?
