Template error, not Hovercards

When on pages such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Computing the Hovercard is partially hidden by the navigation bar on the right of the page when hovering over a link.

There were z-index overrides at en:Wikipedia:Reference desk/header/nav/aux and en:Wikipedia:Reference desk/header/nav, for unknown reasons. I've removed those, and left a comment at en:Wikipedia_talk:Reference_desk/header/nav#z-index in case I overlooked something.
