As stated in http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Help:Quiz/Wikiversity_compared_to_Moodle, "Moodle (or any other VLE/LMS) is good when a teacher needs to track and compare students' marks.", while "it is unlikely that Wikiversity's quiz extension could be developed in the direction of a VLE, with tracking of marks.". I've implemented a MediaWiki system in our school which I intend will promote the colaborative culture in here. However, doors would be much more open if I could, also, offer individual tests and record students' results.
The extension http://sandbox.wikiversity.wmflabs.org/moodle mentioned at http://wikimedia.7.x6.nabble.com/Moodle-amp-Wikiversity-new-Moodle-plugin-interfaces-with-MediaWiki-td5002191.html seems to combine Moodle and MediaWiki strengths.
Am I right? If so, please, I need directions to test and install it. Since our MediaWiki system is login/password controled, I hope I could authenticate any student through MediaWiki and, then, transparently transpose the student to the Moodle to get his/her individual answers to a quiz or a questionnaire.
Thank you for your assistance.
