Page cache purging

Folks, when you release a new version, could you also purge the page cache for Download so people (especially anon users) will actually notice? ;) Thanks. :) -- Schneelocke 11:36, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Development releases

Hi, the old page providing the downloads is not functional as of 2012-02-17. Thus I suggest adding https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/gitweb?p=mediawiki/core.git;a=snapshot;h=HEAD;sf=tgz as a link instead. Cheers --[[kgh]] (talk) 14:45, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

{{MW Alpha release number }} didn't take, nobody uses it and nobody ever updated it every week to 1.25.NN. (The current template just links to https://tools.wmflabs.org/snapshots/#!/mediawiki-core/master) So I deleted it. -- SPage (WMF) (talk) 21:26, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
