Purpose

This template shows the required software version for the paragraph. It appears on the right side of the window in a bordered text field.

Software version

This template shows the valid versions for the specified software for the paragraph. It appears on the right side of the window in a bordered text field.

Template parameters[Edit template data]

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Software	software	The name of the software. Example PHP	String	required
Version	version	The version number to display.	String	required
Version 2	version2	To display a range of versions (e.g. 1.20 - 1.25), enter the first version in the “version” parameter and the second version in the “version2” parameter.	String	optional
Version status	version-status	The status of the first version. Suggested values unsupported legacy stable future unknown Default unknown	String	suggested
Version 2 status	version2-status	The status of the second version. Suggested values unsupported legacy stable future unknown Default unknown	String	optional
Comment	comment	If set to “and before” or “and after”, places a less-than-or-equal (≤) or greater-than-or-equal (≥) sign before the version number; otherwise adds the comment to the right of the version number box.	String	suggested
Compact	compact	If set, hides the software name.	Boolean	optional
