Highlights
[edit]- After many years of work, the media player of all Wikimedia wikis has been modernized and now uses Video.js. You can read more about the change in this Diff blogpost.
- Abstract Schema milestone: all WMF Deployed Extensions have now been migrated to abstract schema!
- More than 1,000,000 comments have been posted on wiki with the Reply tool.
What's new
[edit]- The new Wikimedia Developer Portal has launched! Find technical documentation, and connect with the developer community behind Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.
- The Wikimania 2022 Hackathon is a free, online event open where anyone interested in Wikimedia technology can work together on projects, learn new skills, and meet other technical contributors. Donât miss this opportunity to come together with other Wikimedia technical community members! Registration is now open!
