Desired Impact
[edit]- Help Trevor lead the Editing Department to decide Annual Goals for FY2018–19 by March 2017.
- Help the Editing Department leadership and team members make any necessary changes to their structure, composition, and work processes in order to succeed with their new Annual Goals, by Jun 2017.
Tests and Metrics
[edit]- Nobody in the Editing Department leaves the department in reaction to this transition.
- Everybody in the Department can articulate the department goals they work toward and what they are doing toward it.
- Everybody in the Department can describe their own role in a way consistent with how other people describe their role
- Department members and teams plan their work primarily around meeting the Annual Goals, not on improving their historical products
- Everybody in the Department is excited by at least some of the work they expect to do in the next FY.
- It is easier for Department members to change teams, products, and projects than it was last FY.
