The light gray text on a dark grey background makes this page very hard to read.
Talk:Wiki Techstorm 2018
The first sentence that tries to grab the reader's attention uses an undefined accronym.
The text is #aaa on #444, which fails even WCAG AA (contrast ratio of 4.19:1). Changing the text colour to #bbb would bump the contrast ratio up to 5.07:1, which passes WCAG AA, and is marginally more readable (although I really don't understand the need to theme the page beyond the ordinary wiki theme...)
Maybe it's time for the next step, so instead of the traditional grouping and costs, would the location and the Online job be indicated? Once primates also began to consciously use simple tools found around. ( guest participant of Wikimedia Commons Alinas PL)
"The budget of this hackathon" contains the link for this page which does not exist.
Further investigation reported that the page was removed for "No meaningful content or history" and "Vandalism" by user Clump (user talk)
I have to wonder if mediawiki.org is the right place to host this page. As far as I know, mediawiki.org is meant to be about documentaion of MediaWiki. There is an entire project for outreach and collaboration initiatives.
Hackathons are usually documented here. See listing at Hackathons/Previous hackathons.
This wiki hosts much of the content that the participants need to do their programming work, plus some attendees make it their hackathon-task to create or update the docs here.
You might also compare it to an editathon, which are usually documented on the wiki they're focused on, e.g subpages of w:en:Category:Wikipedia meetups in 2018.
Outreachwiki has more abstract uses.
Hope that helps :)
