There is some error here, perhaps just copy and paste error though? I mean the "global accounts" rows, which were not updated. We're now at some 38.5M global accounts, not 36M. Best news in here, I think, is that – despite making millions of accounts global automatically – local accounts with global clashes were less than 5k and are now less than 20k (considering those touched in 6 months), not a huge bump. The numbers for attached and unattached are more puzzling than ever. :( --Nemo 21:55, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- User:Nemo bis: The numbers for global accounts are exactly the same as in Admin tools development/SUL Audit/Metrics 20150212, so it's probably a copy & paste error. --Stefan2 (talk) 23:54, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Last month, phabricator:T89770 was solved. Unless I have misunderstood how that script is supposed to work, all remaining unattached accounts are supposed to clash with a global account as a global account should have been created for all usernames. However, there are currently 8,777,405 unattached accounts, and only 840,211 of those clash with global accounts. Is there some bug in phabricator:T89770 so that global accounts only were created for some user names but not for other user names? Also, why has the number of unattached accounts almost doubled since February? --Stefan2 (talk) 23:54, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
phab:T95927 - the database I was using was out of date, so the stats are totally wrong. I'll regenerate them once the database is back in sync again. Legoktm (talk) 20:08, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- The new statistics look less confusing. I'd have expected the total number of unattached accounts (2,842,789) to be identical to the number of unattached accounts which clash with global accounts (2,815,110), but the difference is approximately one percent. Maybe there is some natural explanation to that difference. --Stefan2 (talk) 16:40, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
