Great and unknown feature to me! But what is the shortcut for MW? That makes is usefull for us?

No, [wp sandbox] will bring you to the wikipedia Artikel (for german de:Sandbox I try different combinations to find Media Wiki (as an example [wp Sites using MediaWiki/by size‎;], [mw Sites using MediaWiki/by size‎;]) none works. Recreation of %s redirect and explanation of Firefox feature

Mozilla Firefox has a feature called "Smart Keywords"[1] that allow the user to set up searches that can be entered directly from the address bar using a keyword. For instance, I have a Smart Keyword of "g" set up for Google, which allows me to type "g puppies" into Firefox's address bar and automatically proceed to the results page of a "puppies" Google search. No going to the Google homepage in the interim. However, if the search terms are left out when using the Smart Keyword feature, Firefox leaves "%s" in for the search terms; presumably this is a variable name in Firefox's code. Therefore, on wikis, it is handy to have %s redirected to the main page of the wiki so that users of this feature can simply type in their keyword for that wiki's search with no search terms to go directly to that wiki's main page. For instance, on MediaWiki here, I have "mw" set up as a Smart Keyword for the search, but since %s is not redirected to the main page, I'm left sitting on a page that doesn't exist. With that rationale and explanation, I'm going to go ahead and recreate the redirect. Ioeth 17:52, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
