These releases primarily serve as a maintenance release for these branches, they also contain a low risk, minor security fix for the #ConfirmEdit extension.

MediaWiki 1.41 EOL

📣 #MediaWiki 1.41 will be end of life on 31 December 2024 as per the MediaWiki version lifecycle.

1.41.5 is expected to be the last release for this branch.
 
It is recommended to upgrade either to MediaWiki 1.42, which will be supported until June 2025 or the next LTS version, 1.43 (due to be released soon), which will be supported until at least December 2027.
