[edit]To correctly reflect the dual licensing of content on mediawiki.org, update this page to include references to CC BY-SA:
- "Please note that all textual contents of MediaWiki.org, unless they're not exclusively marked as public domain, are released under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL)."
- Change to: "Please note that all textual contents of MediaWiki.org, unless they're not exclusively marked as public domain, are released under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC BY-SA)."
- "There is no agreement or understanding between you and MediaWiki.org regarding your use or modification of this information beyond the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL);"

I've suggested linking to the license text on the Creative Commons site, as done in the site footer. As an alternative, Project:Copyrights links to w:Wikipedia:Text of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Happy to make these changes myself if it's easier to (temporarily?) lower the protection on this page. Thanks! APaskulin (WMF) (talk) 23:15, 22 August 2023 (UTC)

Dark mode compatibility
[edit]Please see this report - The banner below "MEDIAWIKI.org MAKES NO GUARANTEE OF VALIDITY" [...] uses inline styles, resulting in it displaying in light mode but links are illegible because they use the same link color as the rest of the page. Thanks. SCP-2000 (talk) 03:53, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
